LAMDA EXAMINATIONS HERTFORDSHIRE
Here at Starlight Stars, the tutors teach LAMDA Performance and Communication subjects. Lessons are taught to solo or duo to students after school.
We follow the syllabus of LAMDA which allows the students to enter a LAMDA examination and we are proud to say we have a 100% examination pass rate!
The LAMBA examination offers a variety of examinations and Starlight Stars provides exams in:
- Performance (Acting & Devising Drama).
- Communication (Speaking Verse and Prose & Reading for Performance).
- Singing.

These subjects develop a broad range of life skills that will support children in the future, including:
- Improved confidence in speaking, listening and answering questions.
- Expanded vocabulary and greater fluency.
- Ability to receive feedback constructively.
- Enhance self-expression and increase the ability to memorise and recall information.
Students will also gain UCAS points from LAMDA examinations (grades 6 to 8) which support applications towards university.
Rockschool Vocal Performance Qualifications
As of September 2022, Rockschool Vocal Performance Grades are available at Starlight Stars!
Not only will students improve their singing ability, but expand their technical proficiency, grasp of music theory and appreciation of some of the most influential songs from the past five decades.
As a student of music, they will improve in confidence, and chances in auditions and competitions.
These critical skills in both LAMDA & RSL will enhance the learner’s self-confidence to engage and contribute fully, whether at school, in further education, work, or in the community: in other words, empowering an individual to fulfil their potential.
Students will also gain UCAS points from Rockschool examinations (grades 6 to 8) which support applications towards university.
